Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs):

Q: I am interested in booking an initial consultation. What next?

A: Click on the button above or this link to be directed to the IAC prospective client intake form. After completing the form you should receive a direct response within two business days. Once your free initial 20 min consultation is scheduled, please complete the intake & consent forms at least 24 hrs prior to your scheduled appt or your reserved appointment will not be held.

(Please be mindful to check your spam or junk e-mail if you have not received a response within two business days.)

Q: What is the difference between an initial consultation and session appointment.

A: An initial consultation is dedicated time & space at no cost for a potential client to share their current reason for seeking therapeutic support and desired therapeutic goals. Additionally, it allows both the potential client and therapist the opportunity get to know each other, while assessing if there is a mutual good fit to best facilitate the overall accomplishment of therapeutic goals. Sessions are established once there is an agreement of therapeutic services, and the potential client has officially become a client.

Q: Are in person sessions offered?

A: YES. Once established as a client. Depending on availability, you have the option for in person, virtual, or hybrid sessions. You get to choose!

Q: Is there parking at your office location?

A: YES. There is generally plenty of convenient parking at the office location. There are a few stairs to get into the main entrance of the building. Additionally, there is wheel chair ramp access into the building immediately to the left of the main entrance. The main elevator is located directly ahead once you have entered the main lobby.

Q: Will I receive confirmation and reminder notifications?

A: YES. After requesting an initial consultation appointment, you should receive a confirmation via email. Please be sure to check your spam or junk folder. The confirmation email contains a link to provide you with direct access to your HIPPA compliant secure client portal to complete initial intake & consent forms. All forms may be completed online. Please complete the forms at least 48 hrs prior to your scheduled appt or your reserved appoint will be removed.

You will receive appointment reminder notifications via email and/or text if you have enabled the options. It is suggested you have at least one form of appointment reminders established. You may also view & manage your previously established appointment(s) via your client portal. Please note your therapist will not provide direct reminders.

Q: What is the best way to make direct contact?

A: Messenger via your client portal ensures secure HIPPA compliant communication. Please note email and text are not considered secure forms of communication.
